The traditional practice of the tea industry is to use tea dust left over from loose tea production in making tea bags. At Lanna Tea, our tea bags are made from high quality top leaf tea produced specifically for tea bag use. All our teas are organically grown and are free from chemical pesticides. This is of utmost importance to us due to the fact that the tea leaf cannot be washed in the tea making process. If any chemicals exist on the leaf, they are carried through to the end product. This is why we insist on using only organically grown leaves.

We offer a wide range of flavored black teas, green teas and health blend teas in tea bag form. Some flavors are of fruits native to Thailand.

Black Tea Bags

Black tea is the most popular form of tea consumed in the West. It is produced from the same tea leaves used to produce green tea except that the leaves are allowed to oxidize creating the darker color. We produce our organic line of black tea bags in six different flavors.

Green Tea Bags

Green tea is the purest form of the tea leaf and is consumed most commonly in the Far East. The lighter taste of green tea lends itself well to the flavors we use in our green tea bag line.

Health Blend Tea Bags

Our health blend of teas combines the tea plant with the mulberry, jiaogulan and banaba leaves in one tea drink. This unique blend provides important benefits such as assistance in the prevention of cancer and diabetes, promotion of weight loss and intestinal regularity, and also provides powerful antioxidants, minerals and amino acids.
